About Hyun Jung
The most rewarding thing for me is seeing students progress in their music training. Most of my students study with me until they graduate from high school and they learn to enjoy music making process. I am dedicated and passionate about teaching the art of music performance. With a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from Claremont Graduate University, my specialization is in Historical Performance Practices - interpreting the Baroque and Classical repertoires on the modern piano. I studied fortepiano with Preethi de Silva, piano with Dr. Nadia Schpachenko, and harpsichord with Dr. Robert Zapulla.

Korean
Learning how to play the piano is like learning a new language. Students will be taught how to read, listen and express themselves through music.
Lessons include: Fundamentals of Music Performance; Technique, Style and Artistry; Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight-Reading, Music Analysis; Memorization & Practice Methods.
If interested, students can also participate in various music festivals, competitions and prepare for the Royal Conservatory Exams.
