About Amy

I have worked for a few large choirs, helping with concerts and church gigs. I have sang and played in my own gigs (in the local bar) in the last year also. I accompany often and help accompany for young musician of the year and other such events. I have taught a few students before also, so I have a couple of years experience in teaching piano to a variety of different age groups on different levels. I also have played in weddings and an open evening for a play!

About the lesson

I am a 28 year old pianist- I completed music BMus. I love to teach and performing music, so if there is anything you would like to learn or need help with, please join me! Any age welcome and any level welcome.
My particular subjects are piano, music theory and ukulele
I am an adaptable teacher, so whatever works for you is how I will teach. I have a variety of different methods which have worked effectively. So don't be afraid to say if something is not working, there is always a different way around the issue!

I have a flexible structure to my lesson plans, which means I have a general foundation of what is to be taught, but I will happily go in a slightly different direction if the student has picked up something quicker, or even slow down if the student is struggling. I am here to help so whatever pace you need is the pace we shall go.

Rate will be £15 per hour
If you need me to travel, depending on where you are there will be a maximum £5 additional cost
If you wish to webcam the lesson there is a reduced cost of £12
