About Salvo
I am a guitarist and composer, I am 30 years old, I play guitar since the age of 8 years. I started with pop / blues / rock and then approached jazz at the age of 14 following a real "electrocution" for Pat Metheny. I obtained the II level Diploma in Musical Disciplines (Jazz) at the Conservatory of Trapani in 2014. Afterwards I continued to explore different genres until in January of this year I released my first solo album, of the ambient / post-rock genre. / post-classical ((concealed information) The record had good reviews on Rockit and Ondarock. Despite this stylistic turn, I continue to practice jazz improvisation, convinced that it is the best way to get to know the instrument and to approach the composition in a creative and responsible way.

My lessons are based on the following aspects: - technique (setting of the left hand, use of the pick, coordination between right and left hand, use of the right hand for the solo parts and for the rhythmic parts) - rudiments of music theory applied to instrument (major and minor scales, diminished, arpeggios, narrow or late positions, harmonization of scales for triads and quadriads, revolts of major, minor, seventh chords) - improvisation principles (jazz and extra-jazz, on chords and "free") - individual artistic expression - study of pieces and / or solos of other guitarists
