About Romina
I started teaching in 2008 at a very well known English school in my city. There, I had the opportunity to be guided by the teacher and researcher, Viviana Valenti, and together with her and her staff of professionals, I started my career that continues to this day. Later on, I was contacted by other schools and after a short time, I found myself teaching at various institutions. I have lost count of how many students I have had, but surely more than hundreds, who have managed to pass their English school year, international exams, or achieve specific goals such as improving their English to travel, attend conferences, or present themselves in interviews. I live part of the time between London and Buenos Aires, which has made led my classes to be through the webcam. It is a very interesting teaching channel today, which allows me anyways to dictate personalized lessons focused on the student's needs.

I am a graduated English teacher with three TOEFL degrees (Teaching of English as a Foreign Language), recognized by UK Naric. My classes are aimed at developing the four language skills with a highly active student's participation. Generally, in each lesson, I recycle content to favour a smooth language development; and I propose a deductive approach of learning. It is very important for me that the student understands and reflects on the language, since I consider it the best way to learn it. I always introduce activities in context and, depending on the level, I plan the language practice starting from more guided exercises to freer and more linguistically demanding exercises. In this way, the student has the tools to investigate and progress with confidence in their language acquisition. I am very patient and create a warm and friendly atmosphere so that the student can express himself freely and fully explore the language.
