About Sukhjit
Having worked as a conversational ESOL tutor helped me put into practice what I had learnt through 150-hour TEFL course. My class included students of mixed abilities, ages, and cultures. This meant that each week, as well as preparing a general lesson plan, I had to plan and tailor activities to meet each students’ individual needs. This involved helping some students to prepare for official English language tests, such as the B1 exams.

My lessons focus primarily on practising speaking and listening, and structuring writing appropriately for audience. Usually, preparatory tasks are given at the end of each lesson, to be completed before the next lesson. I am a patient person, and am encouraged when my students become more confident in their use of English.
