About Bear
In 2015, I finished my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) with a year and a half of Teaching experince to students aged 5-25 in Dalian, China. Over these 18 months, I had over 200 students. At one of the schools I taught at, 7 out of the 8 students I had in my advanced class passed their IELTS with flying colours. A lot of the parents of my younger students would stop me in the hallway and tell me their child's results at school had improved greatly; some to the point of becoming top of the class. My great grandmother, Margret, was an English teacher for over 50 years and taught me how to teach someone from having zero English abilities to speaking at an advanced level in three months. My unique experiences and knowledge from everything I've learned is what I have to offer to all of my students.

Hello Everyone! My name is Bear and I'm an English Tutor here at Superprof. I'm very passionate about language and I know how hard and confusing learning one can be as I've studied different languages myself. I know that every one has a different learning style, goals of fluency and topics they want to learn. In the first lesson, I will discuss these three points with you and discover what your needs are from me. From there, I will personalise the lessons to suit you so that you can learn at a high level of efficiency. I am currently based in Brisbane but for now, I'll only be able to do lessons over skype.
