About Georgie

Hello! My name is Georgie and I am a professional musical theatre performer and dancer.

I graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a First Class BA Hons degree in Musical Theatre and I recently performed in The Jonathan Larson Project at The Southwark Playhouse.

I taught full-time at the GSA Saturday School as a resident teacher and I taught 1 to 1 tutorials as well. I have taught all age groups and abilities from ages 4 to 18 across many different styles and have dance captained many adults too!
I am highly skilled at many different styles of dance and would love to teach as many styles as you would like. The styles I cover are jazz, ballet (including pointe work), musical theatre, tap, Latin and ballroom, contemporary and lyrical.

I have been taught by and worked with some of the finest dance teachers and choreographers in the industry, including world 10 dance champions Michael and Nika Foskett, Phyllida Crowley-Smith, Richard Roe, Kate Tydman, Taylor Walker, to name a few.

I am incredibly passionate about musical theatre, dance and teaching and love to see my students grow in confidence and ability and of course find their love and passion!

I also have an up to date enhanced DBS.

About the lesson

I tailor my lessons to the individual student using a variety of different techniques and methods depending on the student's needs and goals. I can work on technique, help with exam preparation and/or work on choreography pick-up and artistry/style. I have successfully helped students with drama school auditions, so if that is your goal, we can work together to achieve it!

Initially, we start with a free consultation where we discuss your goals, any previous experience and ability. Then we will make a plan together to achieve this goal, structuring in regular lessons.

Each lesson is tailored to the student, but you can expect a brilliant warm up including cardio, conditioning exercises and a stretching/limbering, technical foundational exercises, corner/centre work and of course routines!

Many different styles available: jazz, ballet (including pointe), musical theatre, tap, Latin and ballroom, contemporary and lyrical.
Happy to teach any lesson length, please enquire.

I’ve known and worked alongside Georgie for almost 5 years, and I am continuously impressed by her warmth as a person and her knowledge of her craft as an actress.
Not only is she a wonderful teacher but also a super talented human. She is an inspiring example for students to look up to. I could not recommend Georgie more!

Georgie is a good friend of mine. She is amazingly talented, with her performance in the Jonathon Larson project being one of the best vocal performances I’ve seen on the west end this past year. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking for lessons to be taught by her. You won’t be dissapointed!
