About Elyse

With over 2 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera, I bring both technical training and heartfelt passion to every lesson. I love working with singers who want to grow in confidence and overcome the fears that sometimes hold them back. My specialty is contemporary worship and gospel music, where emotion and connection matter as much as technique. Many students struggle with performance anxiety, but I believe that with encouragement and practice, every singer can stand tall and sing boldly. I focus on breath control, phrasing, and vocal health, building a strong foundation that will serve you in any style. Beyond worship and gospel, I also teach Pop, Indie, and R&B for singers looking to explore different genres. I design each lesson to fit the student’s unique needs and musical dreams. Shy beginners often find their voice in a supportive environment with me. Teen worship leaders gain the skills to lead their peers with clarity and strength. Aspiring recording artists receive guidance on both artistry and technical control. I also offer live performance coaching, especially for singers preparing to lead congregational worship. My goal is to help you connect deeply with your songs and share that connection with others. Music is a gift, and singing it with freedom is powerful. Together, we’ll make sure your voice reflects both your faith and your unique expression.

About the lesson

I teach singing with an emphasis on both technique and expression. Every student has a unique vocal timbre, and my role is to help you discover and refine it. Lessons focus on resonance, projection, and shaping tone so your voice sounds clear and natural. I also guide you in mastering different vocal qualities such as belting, head voice, and mixed voice. Breath control and support are always part of the process to keep your voice healthy. The soloist in training will learn how to project with confidence and connect with an audience. The adult beginner will receive patient, step-by-step guidance to grow comfortable using their voice. Each lesson is customized to your goals and preferred style of music. I use simple exercises that connect directly to songs, making practice engaging. Expression and emotional connection are at the center of my teaching. Singing is more than sound; it is communication from the heart. My goal is to help you balance technical skill with personal artistry. With encouragement and practice, you will find freedom in your voice. Together, we will unlock your vocal potential and bring out the best version of your sound.
