About Simone

Simone has been teaching for the last 3 years, specialising in guitar, music theory and ensemble direction. He has taught a variety of students and levels, ranging from complete beginners to guiding the exam preparation of music university students, achieving great results in all cases. Most noticeably, one of the complete beginner students has proven to be able to write a basic song only two weeks after approaching open chords; while an intermediate student was able to gain enough confidence and skills to start playing lead in his band. Currently, he teaches privately and for SCMT

Simone has been active as a musician since a young age. He has played over a hundred gigs and he has featured in original bands, functions and as a studio and live session player. Proficient in production, he has mixed and mastered an official release, along with a demo-released album and EP. Currently he's active in the Brighton scene with the bands Demure and Aren Drift, also covering the role of manager and main songwriter for Demure. Both bands are active in releasing and gigging, involving festivals and tours

About the lesson

The core aim in each lesson is to create a fun, light-hearted environment that engages the student into practicing to apply what is learnt into their own creativity. Technique is a tool to broaden the tonal palette of your self-expression, accordingly these lessons will be a tool to achieve your goals as a musician.

Simone is proficient in a wide variety of musical genres, and an important part of the lessons is focused towards improvisation and style studies, in order to provide the most complete formation. Furthermore, homework will be given to help set an efficient practice routine. Weekly lessons would be an ideal attendance, in any case getting in touch before starting the lessons is recommended to find the best solution for you
