My method comes from a wide range of experience and philoosophy. I can teach you how to sound good and I can teach you fundamentals to build your musicianship. Both are equally important to me.
Drums: I start with the basics of the science of sound. We then work up to things such as how to properly hold drumsticks correctly and stick heights. From there we can build up to rudiments, drum terminology and reading music.
Guitar: I start with the science of sound. We then start with the basics such as labeling parts on the instrument and instrument care. We then build up to things such as knowing each string and how to tune the guitar. From there we can build up to easy songs, bar chords, full chords, scales.
Voice: I start with the science of sound. We then start with the basics such matching tone and volume. We can then work into scales and details omg how to build vocal endurance and breathing techniques. We then follow by learning songs and scales.
Each method can change based on the students interest and ability!
