About Matiyah
I am a multi-instrumentalist who has played professionally since leaving school. I have formal training including a Music Ba from the University of Hull.
My goal as a teacher is to get more people over the first hurdle of playing the guitar. Playing any instrument is challenging and only by learning to play and learning to enjoy that process will you succeed in your own abilities.

I have a deep understanding of what works and what doesn't through personal experience. I want you to get excited about playing guitar especially if you're a beginner and I will tailor your beginning classes to teach you songs you want to be able to play. I teach from ages 4 and above. I have a BA in Music as well as more than fourteen years of experience playing the guitar and have acquired Grade 8.
