About Emily
I completely understand that the drama school audition process is full of incredible highs and can also have some pretty low moments. I work with students to build them up and help them find the joy in the process as well as the confidence in themselves. I worked with a coach myself to get into drama school and know what a difference it can make. I'm here to support you from start to end and to make sure you don't forget just how brilliant you are along the way.

I work with each student from the very beginning of their process to the very end. We will begin with a casual friendly chat where you can tell me about your previous experiences and a bit about you. From there, I can help you find speeches (if needed) and we'll begin our work on them together. No actor is the same - which is what makes it so exciting. When we work together I like to focus on what it is that makes you special and how to nurture that. We'll work on the technical skills as well as the development of your pieces, using voice and movement to make sure we're showcasing your skills and YOU. It's also important that we create the right mindset for auditions. I'm not going to work with you on a speech and pack you on your way. Together we'll talk about what happens in auditions and how to make sure you're confident and ready to receive the workshops and redirection they will offer you. I can also help with personal statements and song suggestions for auditions that require those. I'll make note of when your auditions are and after each, we can have a debrief, either straight away or once you've had time to process it, whatever works best for you. My sessions last around 1.5 hours, but we can always discuss what works best for you and create a personalised session plan. Pricing will be determined by this and also whether the sessions are on Zoom or in person. Currently, I can travel to people based in SE and Central London with ease. If you're not based there though - don't worry! Drop me a line and I am sure we can sort something out that works for you.

Emily is a highly intuitive and sensitive director. She has a real talent for finding what's best for the actor.
Anyone that gets the chance to work with Emily is incredibly lucky.
Her extensive knowledge of plays and theatre will be invaluable to anyone trying to get into Drama school.I would definitely recommend Emily to anyone auditioning for drama schools and in need of monologue coaching.
She listened to my suggestions and worked with me in a way which led me to feeling confident and grounded in my auditions. Ultimately, Emily’s tutoring got me a place at my favourite drama school. Thank you!!Emily has been so helpful and supportive through my drama school auditions. Not only did she help me find material that really suited me as a performer, but she worked the speeches thoroughly with me, gave me so much confidence and answered all sorts of questions and worries I had. Could not recommend more. Thanks so much!!
Emily helped me select speeches that not only allowed me to showcase my abilities but also allowed me to challenge myself and grow as an actor. She is wonderfully detailed in her process and a fantastic communicator with a great eye for redirection.
