About Tamilla

I am a professional violinist with many years of performing and teaching experience, who speaks four languages and prides herself in making lessons accessible for all level students, relaxed and fun. My teaching style earned me a lot of students who became friends over the years, as I have tremendous respect for the fellow musicians. I am a native Russian speaker as well as a confident piano player. I also teach solfeggio and general musicianship. I believe in breaking complicated things down to the simpler steps so that even such a difficult instrument as violin or a language like Russian becomes a pleasure to learn. University : - State Conservatoire Azerbaijan - bachelor degree

Tamilla has been tutoring my daughter Lucy in Russian for 3 years. Over that time Lucy has made impressive progress and is now well set for her Russian GCSE. Tamilla has been an excellent teacher and has been wonderfully supportive to Lucy in many ways. I would not hesitate in recommending Tamilla as a tutor.
