About Louise-Aurore
I used to be an English language teacher in junior high school in France. Last year I moved out to Scotland to do a MLitt in Reformation Studies at the Univerity of St Andrews. I'm in the process of applying for a PhD programm at the University of Durham. I have a deep interest in the politics and diplomacy of 16 th century Europe and how it ties in the reform movement that swept the British Isles and the Continent in the 1550s and 1560s.

My teaching methodology centers first and foremost on the needs of my students. I'll need to make a first assessment of their levels in English and ask themwhat they expect of this English class, what goals and purposes they are pursuing. And then according to their answers I'll start to design a tailored programm that responds to their needs. I always find it useful to work on improving listening and speaking skills as well as writting skills.
