About PAVEETHRA
I have experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE English Language to students of all ages for the past 5 years. I have extensive experience working with students with learning difficulties. I pride myself on creating a classroom environment that accommodates the needs of my students while still promoting a good level of critical thought and writing skills.
My objective as a lecturer and teacher is to motivate my students to develop their own learning interests and critical thinking. In particular, teaching a wide range of students of all ages has made me aware of the needs and interests of my students. As a result, I prepare lessons keeping in mind the interconnection between the student’s own knowledge, learning abilities, the subject matter discussed in class, and also current debates on social issues. I usually incorporate fun learning techniques in my classes as students should perceive education to be fun and not a burden.
Collaborative learning is also central to my teaching methods in order to promote reflective thinking and to improve students communicative skills.
I strongly believe that clear, open communication with students is a key element in helping them learn.
