About Marit
English is an incredibly communicative language. Having learned English as my second language, I understand how learning English for non-native speakers can be challenging, and have personal experience with the language learning process. I have qualifications in IB Higher Level English language and Literature, and teaching experience in an international school, working with children of ages 11 to 16, of a variety of different proficiency levels, to improve their creative and essay writing.

I give lessons to students of all proficiency levels (beginner and native speaking) up to a university level. I approach my teaching by working closely with the students needs and their current requirements for school. My teaching involves in depth discussions about stimulus literature, tailored to the students needs, and then practice writing in different formats. In my class students are encouraged to actively participate and will receive thorough constructive feedback to improve their writing.
