About Maribel
I am an experienced ESL tutor with over 19 years of teaching experience, specializing in English for High School and College students. Over the years, I have successfully taught between 150 and 200 students, helping them build strong English skills for academic and everyday use.
My teaching philosophy is based on simplicity, clarity, and student confidence. I believe English learning should be stress-free and practical. I design lessons that match each student’s learning level and learning style. My teaching approach includes speaking practice, grammar correction, vocabulary growth, and writing support.
I use discussions, examples, and regular practice to improve understanding. I also assist students with exam preparation and academic communication. One of my proud achievements is helping students improve confidence and classroom participation. Many learners have shown better performance in exams and discussions. I am committed to helping students grow steadily in English.

My ESL teaching methodology is designed to make English learning practical and engaging. I focus on real-life communication using everyday examples and case studies. This helps students understand how English works outside the classroom.
Problem-solving activities help students practice real communication. I use discussions, scenario-based exercises, and role plays to improve fluency and clarity.
Motivation plays a strong role in my teaching style. I support students by encouraging effort and recognizing improvement. I create a supportive learning space where students feel comfortable speaking English.
Integrity guides my teaching process. I provide honest guidance, clear lesson structure, and consistent support. I respect each learner’s progress and effort.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons to different learning needs and levels. I adjust teaching pace and materials as required. In addition to ESL, I also teach grammar, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, writing skills, pronunciation, and communication skills. My goal is to help students use English confidently in everyday and professional life.
