About Jay
I have been working in the entertainment and hospitality industry for over ten years, specifically in Casinos and Hotels. I started teaching private English lessons onboard cruise ships to fellow colleagues and crew as an extra income and have developed a strong passion for assisting others with improving their language skills.

I believe in starting with a warmer activity, allowing students to start interaction. I then move on to the presentation stage where I as the teacher would then present the topic and introduce the lesson to the students. Moving on to the practice stage where the students practice whatever was taught or presented in a controlled environment where I as the teacher would then assist the students in understanding and implementing what they have learnt. The Production stage of the lesson is where students complete an activity on their own, followed by the lesson recap, ending off the lesson where I as the teacher would evaluate student's progress for the specific topic of the lesson.
