About the lesson

Dance is a language of the soul. At Natya Rasika, we believe that dance is not just movement—it’s a profound form of inner expression. Rooted in the rich traditions of Indian classical dance, we focus on nurturing the dancer from within. Our training is a holistic blend of body conditioning, posture refinement, and deep emotional expression (abhinaya). Whether you’re a beginner discovering rhythm for the first time or an advanced dancer refining your craft, we help you build the strength, grace, and authenticity that a true performer embodies. At Natya Rasika, every session is a journey into the essence of natya—where technique meets feeling, and discipline meets joy. We aim to create not just dancers, but storytellers who speak through every gesture and silence. Join us in honoring tradition, embracing creativity, and dancing with soul.

Aruna Rekha teacher is a very talented dancer and singer, at the same time she is so grounded that she comes to level of students to make them comfortable and teach them in a way they understand clearly. She just doesn’t teach, but she inspires her students to learn and perform. Not just dance or music, students can learn to be a good individual from the way she speaks, behaves and respects everyone. She often go beyond her duties to help and support students in all aspects, not just dance or music.

We feel truly fortunate to have Smt. Aruna as our daughter’s Kuchipudi teacher. She is soft-spoken, patient, and has a very graceful approach to teaching. The way she nurtures children and inspires them to enjoy the art form is remarkable.

It gives us immense pride to see our daughter learning under her guidance and developing a genuine love for Kuchipudi. We are confident that with her mentorship, our daughter will continue to grow, not just as a dancer, but also in confidence and Character.
