About Andrew
I studied a Bachelors in Law for three years. As part of my degree, I helped teach students complex areas of law such as constitutional law, human rights law and legal philosophy. As a result, I possess lots of experience in helping students understand very complex ideas. Therefore, I know how to help you improve your own understanding of the more complex parts of English in an effective way.
I possess a background in theatre. During university and school I co-directed several plays. Because of this, I have a lot of experience with helping people develop and improve in a variety of areas. I am able to give you constructive feedback and I can encourage you and help you to feel motivated to learn and improve your English. As an important part of acting is vocal ability, I am also able to help you improve your pronunciation of English words.

My lessons are predominantly geared towards students who currently at an intermediate or an advanced level of English.
I offer two types of lessons to students. The first type of lesson is focused on having a general conversation in English about any topic. This gives an opportunity to practice your listening and speaking in a fun way.
The second type of lesson focuses on any specific area that the student wants help with, such as grammar, vocabulary, understanding of English culture, tenses... To help teach these areas I can create worksheets, presentations and documents that the student and I can go through together to better understand a specific area.

Rates for online lessons: £7/h
Classes are available to anyone with at least an intermediate understanding of English.
Lessons are available to students who are aged 14 or older.
Lessons are taught over skype or zoom.
The duration of a typical lesson will vary depending on what the student would like help with. Therefore lessons can last anywhere between 15-60 minutes.
I offer a free half hour lesson where we can talk about specific areas you would like us to focus on in future lessons.

- Practice with Accent improvement
- Practice with written/oral skills
I am able to be flexible in setting a time which works for you. In order to help you progress in your learning, I recommend booking 2/3 lessons with me a week.
