About Kaynat Aysha

I am currently a law lecturer at university as well as a paralegal at a Law firm. I completed my LLB with a 1:1 in 2023. I then went on to completing my LPC with a distinction and have just submitted my LLM. I am soon looking to apply for a lecturing position at a university, alongside which I will be doing my PhD. Whilst I was a student, I believe at times I didn’t receive the support a student would hope to receive. Hence, I would like to become a lecturer in order to give that support to my future law students.

About the lesson

A great approach I would be looking to adapt is focusing on breaking down complex legal concepts into simpler terms, providing practical examples, and offering personalised feedback on assignments or practice questions. Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment will also make a big difference.

Amal is a confident individual. She can express clearly where her strengths and weaknesses are. She has a set goal that she wishes to achieve. She requires assistance with referencing and improving her writing style, which I believe I can help her improve. Overall, it was lovely speaking to her today as we got to know each other quite well :)
