About Wathaq

I'm a recent top-grade GCSE Arabic student who understands how to make Arabic accessible and less intimidating. Having spent years studying the language as a non-native speaker, I know what it’s like to face challenges with grammar, vocabulary, and confidence. That’s exactly why I focus on clear explanations, gradual progression, and relatable examples in my lessons. Rather than overwhelming students, I break down the language into manageable parts and teach strategies that worked for me personally—especially useful for GCSE learners and beginners who can read but want to understand and use Arabic more fluently.

About the lesson

We offer engaging, curriculum-based lessons for both GCSE Arabic students and beginners who can read Arabic but want to improve their understanding, grammar, and overall confidence in the language. For Beginners: We teach using the Madina Book series, which is well-structured, clear, and widely respected for building foundational Arabic. We’ll focus on: Understanding sentence structure and grammar Building everyday vocabulary Translating Arabic to English and vice versa Practising reading comprehension and listening Lessons are interactive and paced according to the student's level. This course is ideal for learners of all ages who want to understand Arabic—not just memorise it. For GCSE Students: We offer crash courses for the various themes of the Edexcel GCSE Arabic Specification, covering all the essential vocabulary and grammar to boost your progress and ace your exams. What's included: Interactive quizzes and flashcards to aid retention Exam-style questions and practice to build exam readiness Short homework tasks to reinforce learning and build confidence Our lessons are normally 1 hour but this can vary based on your preference.
