About Mazen

I'm Mazen, a native Egyptian living in Johor Bahru. I'm a professional English teacher, so I know how to teach a language step by step, not just chat.

I'm also a music artist and video producer, so expect real songs, movie scenes and street phrases in our lessons, not just textbook Arabic.

About the lesson

Egyptian Arabic is the Arabic everyone understands, thanks to Egyptian films, music and TV. I'll teach you to speak it the way people actually talk in Cairo.

Going to study in Egypt? Moving there for work? Married into an Egyptian family? Or just love Egyptian movies and music? We'll build the lessons around your reason.

We start with everyday talk: greetings, ordering food, taxis, small talk. Then we build up to real conversations. I teach in English, and you can learn in Arabic script or in Latin letters if you're a beginner.

In the first lesson I check where you are and plan the next 8 weeks with you.
