About Hibban
Hello, I'm Hibban, an accountancy tutor with an M.Com, a Ph.D. in progress, and 11 years of teaching experience. Over these years I have learned that accountancy is not about memorizing entries but about understanding the story behind every transaction, and that is exactly how I teach. I work with Class 11 and 12 students following the Indian syllabus, as well as degree students in India and the Gulf countries. My lessons are patient, structured, and friendly, and every student receives personal attention, step-by-step explanations, and plenty of exam-focused practice. I take pride in building both confidence and marks, and I treat every student's progress as my own success. I would be delighted to help you learn accountancy the easy way.

Hi, I'm Hibban. Accountancy can feel like a maze of debits, credits, and formats, but it follows clear logic. Once you understand why an entry is made, not just how, the subject becomes systematic and even enjoyable. My goal is to help you think like an accountant, so you can solve any problem, not just the ones you have memorized.
Teaching techniques and methods
• Start with your level. In the first session I check your grasp of the basics (accounting equation, golden rules of debit and credit) and find out where you get stuck.
• Logic before rules. I explain the reason behind every entry using real business examples, such as a shop buying stock or a company paying salaries.
• Learning by doing. Journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and final accounts are practiced step by step, with problems that increase gradually in difficulty.
• Error hunting. We work through common mistakes, like trial balance mismatches and wrong adjustments, so you learn to spot and fix them.
• Exam-oriented practice. You solve board and university-style questions, with a focus on correct format, presentation, and time management.
• Regular review. Short recaps and quick revision sheets keep formulas, formats, and concepts fresh.
Usual structure of a class
1. Warm-up (5-10 minutes): review the last topic and go over homework doubts.
2. New concept (15-20 minutes): clear explanation with a worked example.
3. Guided practice (20-25 minutes): we solve numericals together, then you attempt similar ones on your own while I guide you.
4. Wrap-up (5-10 minutes): summary of key points, feedback, and practice questions for the next session.
Syllabus and topics covered
• Class 11 and 12 (Indian syllabus): CBSE, ISC, and State Boards, including journal, ledger, trial balance, final accounts, depreciation, bank reconciliation, partnership accounts, company accounts, cash flow statements, and ratio analysis
• Degree level (B.Com, BBA, and similar): financial accounting, corporate accounting, advanced accounting, cost accounting basics, and financial statement analysis
