About Dina

Hi! I’m a native Indonesian speaker based in Singapore, with strong English skills. I love helping people build real confidence speaking Indonesian, not just memorizing rules, but actually being able to use the language in everyday life.

Before teaching, I spent over a decade working closely with people from all over the world. Those years taught me how to really listen, explain things patiently, and great in adapting/adjusting communication style.
I also work as a freelance translator, so I pay close attention to grammar, nuance, and getting the details right, something I bring into how I teach too.

I've been living abroad for over 20 years, which has given me a deep, lived understanding of moving between cultures and languages.

Whether you’re completely new to Indonesian or already know some basic Bahasa Indonesia, I’ll adapt my lessons to your level and learning goals.
I especially enjoy teaching conversational and practical Indonesian — the kind of Bahasa Indonesia you can actually use when traveling, working, socializing or communicating with Indonesian friends and family.

My goal is simple: to help you feel confident using Bahasa Indonesia in real-life situations.

About the lesson

I offer personalized Bahasa Indonesia lessons for beginners and intermediate learners who want to communicate confidently and naturally in Indonesian.

As a native Indonesian speaker, I focus on practical Indonesian that you can actually use in real-life situations — whether you're planning a trip to Indonesia, living or working with Indonesian colleagues, communicating with Indonesian friends or family, or simply interested in learning the language.

My lessons can include:
