About Shamika

I am a dedicated trainee working in the legal profession, with practical experience of the day-to-day responsibilities involved in working within a law firm. I have developed hands-on knowledge of legal processes, case preparation, client care, legal research, and professional communication.

I enjoy sharing my practical knowledge with students and aspiring legal professionals who want to understand what working in a law firm is really like. My aim is to make legal learning approachable and practical, helping you develop the confidence and skills needed to take your first steps into the legal profession.

Whether you are studying law, considering a career in the legal sector, or preparing to enter a law firm, I can provide practical guidance based on my experience as a trainee.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on developing the practical skills you need to work confidently in a law firm. As a trainee, I can give you insight into the day-to-day skills used in legal practice, helping you bridge the gap between studying law and applying it in a professional environment.

You will learn how to draft professional client care letters, analyse cases carefully and accurately, and approach legal tasks with attention to detail and skill. I can also help you understand how to navigate legal platforms such as CCDCS and Common Platform, giving you practical guidance on how these systems are used within legal practice.

Whether you are a law student, aspiring paralegal, or someone preparing to enter the legal profession, my lessons are designed to build your confidence, improve your practical legal skills, and help you understand what working in a law firm is really like.
