About Shantanu
I once read that music is one of the few skills that bridges the left and right sides of the brain. While that’s hard to measure, one thing I’ve experienced firsthand is that the more I’ve played guitar—with honesty and consistency—the more it has positively impacted other areas of my life beyond just music.

I follow a reverse engineering approach. We go through your interests, kind of playing you want to get into, songs of your choice and based on that: 1. We start with chords and rhythms if you want to accompany your voice and just want to be the one supporting with an instrument if your friends are singing 2. We start with finger dexterity exercises if you love to play melodies of popular songs, guitar solos and guitar pieces etc. 3. We combine both if you want to get a complete learning experience of the instrument. CLASS STRUCTURE: - 1 hr session: Once a week - 30 mins session: 4 times a week In my experience, unless a student is super motivated, they don't practice by themselves. And learning an instrument is all about consistency in order to build muscle memory. Hence, I offer 4 practice sessions of just 30 mins throughout the week. Being a beginner and intermediate tutor, my job is to bring you in a position that figuring out the chords or the melodies of the popular songs becomes a quick process for you.
