About Dr Usman Ali

I have eleven (13) years of research, academic and teaching experience in which I worked with different organizations to complete various projects. I completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the School of Electrical, Computer and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Wollongong (UOW), NSW.
Current Position: Senior Lecturer at PIA Geelong, 3216 VIC.
Qualification: PhD Electrical Engineering
Areas of Specialisation: Information Technology (Cyber Security and Software Development), Wireless communication and wearable technology.

I have extensive teaching expertise in the areas of Cyber Security, Software Development, Mathematics, and Applied Physics. In Cyber Security, I have taught courses covering topics such as network security, cryptography, ethical hacking, and data privacy. In Software Development, I have guided students through the entire software development lifecycle, emphasizing principles of object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and software testing. Lastly, in Applied Physics, I have facilitated courses covering mechanics, electromagnetism, and optics, emphasizing the application of physical principles in practical scenarios.
