Juf Maaike is een TOPjuf! Naast haar passie voor natuur, reizen, kunst en alle mooie dingen in het leven heeft ze ook een passie e voor talen en Nederlands. Ze weet met haar enthousiasme een saaie les toch boeiend te maken. Bovendien zoekt en ziet ze in haar leerlingen altijd de positieve eigenschappen wat heel motiverend werkt. I met Maaike while hiking the Camino de Santiago and we spent many hours and days with one another often in deep conversation on various life topics. She is a beautiful soul that has an amazing way of challenging you kindly and lovingly without judgment as to the “why” of your ways, your habits, your actions and your thoughts.
I had the incredible opportunity to be guided by her through a yoga practice and meditation. She has such a way with words…clear, kind and loving. Her voice is so calming. And she shares her deep knowledge in a way that is supportive and uplifting leaving you feeling lighter, seen and heard.
