About Muhammed Fareed

I am a Trainee Solicitor with an LLB and LPC/LLM, with several years of practical legal experience gained through working as both a paralegal and trainee solicitor.

My professional experience includes residential and commercial property law, conveyancing, personal injury and general legal practice. Through my work, I regularly analyse complex legal issues, draft legal documents and correspondence, carry out legal research and explain technical matters clearly to clients.

I enjoy helping others understand law in a practical and straightforward way. Having progressed from university study into professional legal practice, I understand the challenges students can face when dealing with difficult legal concepts, cases, statutes, essays and problem questions.

I aim to be approachable, patient and supportive, while also encouraging students to develop strong legal reasoning and independent thinking. My goal is not simply to help students memorise the law, but to help them understand how to apply it confidently in exams, assignments and real-life legal scenarios.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is clear, structured and practical. I begin by identifying the student’s current level, areas of difficulty and goals so that each lesson can be tailored to their needs.

I explain legal concepts in simple, manageable stages and avoid unnecessary jargon. I then use cases, statutes and practical examples to show how the law applies in real situations. Where appropriate, I use my experience as a Trainee Solicitor to help students understand the connection between academic law and legal practice.

For essays and problem questions, I focus on structure, legal analysis, application and clear argument. I also encourage students to work through questions themselves so that they develop confidence and independent reasoning rather than simply memorising information.

I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, and I adapt my teaching style if a topic is not immediately understood. My overall goal is to make complex legal material easier to understand and help students improve both their knowledge and exam or assignment technique.
