About Mary

Hi! I’m a Law student at City St George’s, University of London, having previously studied A-level Law, Business and Psychology. Taking Law at A-level sparked my interest in the subject, and I’d love to help other students feel more confident and enjoy studying it too.

Having recently been through the course myself, I understand how challenging it can be to remember cases, apply legal rules and get your essay structure right all at the same time. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, want students to feel comfortable asking questions, and working through topics at their own pace.

About the lesson

My A-level Law lessons focus on making legal concepts clear, interesting and easier to apply. Whether you struggle with remembering cases, tackling problem questions or finding an essay structure that works for you, I’m here to help. We’ll break topics down step by step and use examples and exam-style questions to build your understanding and confidence.

Lessons typically last one hour and are tailored to your needs. We’ll begin with a short recap, work through a topic you find challenging, and finish with practice questions and feedback. We can focus on recalling legal rules and cases, applying the law to scenarios or developing clear, well-supported evaluation. You’re always welcome to ask questions or ask me to explain something differently!

I studied A-level Law myself and am now studying Law at City St George’s, University of London. Having recently completed my A-levels, I understand the challenges of the course and how much difference clear explanations and effective revision can make.

My lessons welcome A-level Law students of all ages and abilities, whether you’re getting to grips with the basics, revisiting difficult topics or aiming for a higher grade.
