About Amy

Hi! I’m a current LLB Law student at the University of Liverpool with a real passion for Law and helping others feel more confident in the subject.

I remember how overwhelming A-level Law could feel at times, particularly when it came to remembering cases, understanding what examiners were looking for and turning what you know into a strong exam answer. I’m therefore passionate about making Law feel more manageable and helping students find a revision and exam technique that works for them.

Outside of tutoring, I’m developing my own legal experience alongside my degree through volunteering and work experience, and I’m particularly interested in pursuing a career in the legal profession.

I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I want my lessons to be a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and getting things wrong without feeling judged. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic or simply want to push your grades further, I’ll work with you to help you get there.

About the lesson

building confidence with a particular topic, improving exam technique or preparing for upcoming exams.
My approach focuses on making difficult legal concepts clear and easy to understand, while helping students develop the skills needed to turn their knowledge into marks. I use a combination of discussion, worked examples, exam questions and feedback to help students understand not only the law itself, but how to apply it effectively in an exam.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although longer sessions can be arranged for more intensive revision.
I am currently studying for an LLB Law degree at the University of Liverpool and have experience supporting others with revision and explaining academic concepts. Having completed A-levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and the importance of effective exam technique and clear essay structure.
My lessons are aimed at A-level Law students, including those who are looking to improve their grades, strengthen their understanding of the subject or prepare for exams.
