About Elisabeth
My favorite subject at school has always been English. I love the language. During my Bachelor International Business and Languages, I studied in America for six months and I did an internship in Barcelona for six months at a language institution where I taught Spanish children English. Since August this year, I have been traveling through Europe in a camper with my boyfriend. During that time I finally got my TEFL certificate. An internationally recognized diploma to teach English. And now I like to pass on my knowledge to you from anywhere in the world :).

The first step is to make a needs analysis and determine your current level of English. We can determine this in the first free lesson. After that, the structure of a lesson can be different. Individual lessons will often be based on a Before, During and After structure, tailored on your needs and interests. For example, you will receive a text before the lesson that contains the TL (Target Language) which you want to practice. We use this during the lesson for deepening and then an assignment that you can do in your own time to consolidate the learned material. You can expect visuals in all shapes and sizes, from video, audio, written assignments, to flashcards during class, etc.
If you are taught in a group, this will often be based on the PPP structure. Presentation, Practice, Production. These lessons often take longer, so there will be time during the lesson for extensive explanation, then group practice, both in controlled (Practice) and free form (Production). Both structures focus on as much STT as possible; student talking time!
