About Edmund

I am 30 years old and have been practicing yoga for 6 years, and teaching for 3. I discovered Ashtanga yoga and became particularly devoted to this practice, which transformed my life in a way no other style had previously. It is systematic and provides a wonderful sense of grounding and confidence in oneself. Through my teaching I've then evolved my style and now love teaching more creative dynamic flow classes, as well as yin and restorative. Depending on your preferences we can focus more on Ashtanga or on different styles of yoga

I have worked through several injuries myself and have witnessed the power of yoga to transform the body, and consequently, one's quality of life. I am always attentive to you as a student and place great importance on good communication between student and instructor. My classes may be physically challenging, but the atmosphere is always fun and accessible.

About the lesson

Hello! My name's Eddie. Nice to meet you :-) Interested in becoming a super-flexible and vibrantly healthy yogi? Under my guidance you'll get there in no time. I teach primarily Ashtanga and freestyle vinyasa yoga. Lessons are always adapted to meet the needs of the student, there is no requirement to be flexible! These dynamic forms of yoga work with the whole person to build strength, flexibility, focus and endurance. I am passionate about this practice, and have observed that private instruction is the most effective for students. I employ hands on adjustments, if the student desires, which can be incredibly helpful in allowing you to develop proper form and technique.

Lessons last between 1 and 1.5 hours. The practice is physically intense, but in a way that feel invigorating and opening for the body. We will always end with a long shavasana and guided relaxation.

I have advanced teacher training in Ashtanga yoga, as well as diplomas in yin and hatha yoga. I currently work with private students and teach group classes in the Teddington area of London, which is a very beautiful part of town. Lessons can take place in my home, where I have a lovely peaceful yoga space, or I can happily come to you to conduct lessons in the comfort of your own home.

I can't wait to share with you the incredible benefits of this practice and see your progress really take off!
