As a mentor, I always try to follow these wise words by Benjamin Franklin. For me,
To counsel and involve the students in the process of learning is always above
than following the conventional method to directly jump to formulas and the
questions.
During my first project of Khwaish in 2014-2015, I laid the utmost importance in
the overall development of underprivileged students be it extracurricular activities
or subject teaching.
Experiential Teaching was always the idea to imply. Learning with activities,
relating the real-life examples with the theory always helped me to make students
understand the concepts in a better way.
The experience of handling 5 public schools under Gandhi Fellowship by Piramal
Foundation from 2015 through 2016 helped me to learn the nitty-gritty of the
education system.
After the fellowship, I joined IMS- an institute for undergraduate & postgraduate
entrance exams. Be it international entrances like the ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT or
Indian Entrances like CAT, JAT, XAT I took care of all the courses handling around
700 students. I’ve given numerous seminars/webinars on tricks and strategies to
solve complex problems of quantitative aptitude.
During Covid situation, I always wondered how tough it would become for the
students to learn.
And that very moment gave me an idea of SMART teaching.

It has helped me and my students sail through the tough times without hindering
the process of learning in a more innovative, engaging and productive manner.
