About Amir
I have been teaching English for over 7 years now. I have taught over one hundred students in one-to-one and group lessons, both online and in-person. I can confidently say that I have benefited from our lessons just as much as they have. I have discovered new teaching techniques and material, tested their efficiency, and had the privilege of watching my students improve and fulfill their learning goals. I understand every student has his/her own area in the English language (such as: pronunciation, grammar, listening,...) in which he/she struggles or seeks to improve. I dedicate sufficient time in our first lesson to understand what the student wants us to focus on in our lessons as well to discover what method of teaching he/she finds most effective and comfortable for them to achieve their learning goals. I have taught over a hundred students one-on-one and, as a result, I now have quite an arsenal of teaching approaches that I try implementing with my students until we find the methodology that best suits them.
