About Cleon

I am a dedicated musician and performer with a strong background in Chinese music, specializing in the sheng. Through my experience preparing and performing in recitals, I have developed a deep understanding of both musical expression and theory.

Beyond performing, I am passionate about teaching and guiding students. My experience leading teams and working with students has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a supportive learning environment.

I believe that music theory should not be intimidating. My goal is to make lessons engaging, practical, and easy to understand, helping students build confidence and achieve their goals, whether for exams or personal growth.

About the lesson

I offer structured and personalized music theory lessons designed to build strong fundamentals and deep musical understanding. My teaching goes beyond memorization, focusing on applying theory directly to real music.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and adapted to each student's pace and goals, whether it is preparing for ABRSM exams or learning for personal growth. I teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced.

As an active musician and performer, I provide practical insights, clear explanations, and a result-driven approach in every session.
