About Olivera

Music theory, for me, is more than just academic knowledge; it's the framework that brings music to life. It's the thrill of understanding why certain notes work together, how emotions are conveyed through harmony, and the underlying logic behind every great composition. My journey has been one of deep fascination with these musical structures. I've spent countless hours not just learning the rules, but truly internalizing and applying them, seeing how they weave together to create the magic we hear. This isn't just about memorizing terms; it's about developing a profound understanding and appreciation for music on a whole new level. I genuinely believe that everyone, regardless of their instrument or background, can benefit immensely from understanding music theory. It empowers you to compose, improvise, analyze, and simply listen with far greater insight. My passion is to demystify this incredible subject and share my knowledge in a clear, engaging way, helping you unlock its power and deepen your own musical journey.

About the lesson

Music theory, to me, isn't just a collection of rules; it's the master key to truly understanding every composition, every nuance, every single note. Through years of dedicated study and exploration, I've discovered the profound beauty of "hearing" music not just with my ears, but with my mind, long before a single note is played.

My greatest drive is to share this knowledge and these insights with all of you, opening your eyes and ears to the rich, logical, and incredibly beautiful world of musical structure and harmony. I believe that understanding the "why" behind the "what" of music can transform your playing, your listening, and your entire musical experience.

Whether you're struggling to grasp chords, curious about scales, or want to compose your own pieces, I'm here to illuminate the path. Let's embark on this exciting journey together, deciphering the language of music and unlocking your full potential.

Olivera is one of the most patient people I have ever met. We have been friends for a long time, so I can tell you that I know her well. She is a very intelligent being. She tries to look at every situation and obstacle from multiple angles, and easily comes up with a good solution. She is very reasonable and easy to communicate with. I believe she is an equally excellent professor and pedagogue. We have collaborated on several occasions in trios and quartets, and I confirm that Olivera is an incredibly responsible person. I absolutely recommend that you be Olivera's student because you will have one hundred percent certainty of acquiring new knowledge correctly.
