As a teacher, I believe that creating a positive and comfortable learning environment is essential for my students' success. Creativity and patience are also at the core of my teaching philosophy. I understand that learning a new language can be challenging, and it requires a lot of practice and dedication. Therefore, I always come up with innovative teaching strategies to keep my students engaged and motivated. I strive to create a variety of learning opportunities that cater to different learning styles, so that each student can learn at their own pace.

Additionally, I understand the importance of building my students' confidence as they learn. I encourage my students to take risks and make mistakes, as this is a vital part of the learning process. By creating a supportive learning environment, my students feel more at ease and confident to practice their language skills.

In conclusion, my teaching style is centred around creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience for my students. I am passionate about teaching the Chinese language and culture and am dedicated to helping my students achieve their language learning goals. About the lesson

- Lessons can cater to a wide range of learners, from beginners to advanced levels

- Teaching approach and materials will be tailored to meet the specific needs and interests of each student

- Teaching Methods and Techniques including but not limited to:
• Communicative Language Teaching: involves activities such as role-playing, discussions, and problem-solving tasks.
• Multimedia Approach: mainly books, but various multimedia resources will also be used, such as videos, podcasts, and online games, to make the lessons more engaging and interactive.

- My Typical Lesson Plan Structure:
• Warm-up: This could be a short activity to engage and motivate students, such as a Chinese tongue twister or a word association game.
• Introduction: Introduce the new vocabulary and grammar structures for the lesson. Provide examples and explain the meaning and usage.
• Practice: Allow students to practice using the new vocabulary and grammar structures through various activities such as role-play, group discussions, and writing exercises.
• Feedback: Give students feedback on their performance and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Wrap-up: Review the lesson's key points, ask for student feedback, and assign homework.
