About Neli

I’m a native Croatian speaker who also speaks English, Italian, Spanish, and intermediate German. I’ve had the chance to teach in different countries all over the world, so I get how learning a new language can be both exciting and challenging. I’m really passionate about helping students feel confident and enjoy the learning process. My lessons are relaxed, personalised, and focused on what you need, so we can work together to reach your goals at your own pace. I know how tricky languages can be sometimes, and I’m here to support you through those tough spots!

About the lesson

As a native Croatian speaker who speaks 5 foreign languages, I truly understand what it’s like to learn a foreign language—the obstacles, the tricky moments, and those times when motivation dips. I’m happy to work closely with you, patiently supporting you until we reach your goals. Croatian is often portrayed as difficult, but with the right approach and personalised guidance, it doesn’t have to be! I combine conversational practice, grammar exercises, listening, and cultural insights to make lessons engaging and effective. Typical lessons last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible and can adapt to your needs. I’ve taught students of all ages and levels—from beginners to advanced—and tailor each lesson to your personal interests and pace. Whether you’re learning for travel, work, or simply to explore a new language, I’m here to help you succeed.

Her lessons are very engaging, and never boring, she has a great sense of humour too, which makes it easier for me to recall different words or structures. Very adaptable and I achieved a lot of progress in a small time frame. Like in 3-4 lessons I was able to have small conversations and carry out onboard service with Spanish speaking passengers.
