About Silvia
I am Silvia Martin Woodcock, bilingual in English and Spanish. I am a rare mix of New Zealand and Spanish cultures and I know both languages perfectly. I love being an English teacher and I study French (no doubt my soft spot).
I have a Bachelor in English and Psychology, the CELTA certificate (Cambridge University) and am a certified coach (ACSTH).
With 14 years of experience teaching English to all levels and ages, my specialty is teaching B2, C1, C2 levels. Whatever your level, I am passionate about giving quality classes and have a high capacity to approach all kinds of content (complex content too). I have worked in schools, companies and with private students.

Are you ready to give your English a real push?!
I am native in English and Spanish as I have dual nationality (New Zealander-Spanish). In addition, I study French (a language I love) so I know the problems you face when learning a language. After 14 years as an English teacher, I have developed a more effective method of giving classes.
Normally, almost all (if not all!) language classes consist of speaking and getting a few (4 or 5?) comments afterwards. I have always experienced this as a student and it's frustrating! This means that we receive feedback on maybe 10% of our oral production, so a lot of language (and errors) stay with us for revision.
However, I write almost 100% of what you say in class, so that we can see everything in detail afterwards (all the problems regarding vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation). You will find out what works well in your speaking tasks and you will get valuable feedback on vocabulary and expressions to help improve and ...take your English to another level!
