About Allen
I am a retired Site Agent in the Civil and Pipelaying industry, I am bored with sitting at home and I like the idea of teaching young people better English to help them in the future and give them a broader English vocabulary, better grammar and generally improved intellect.

My teaching methodology is firstly to get to know the student or students in a friendly and happy atmosphere and through questioning and communication, gauge their level of fluency, vocabulary and understanding the basics of English. Once I have assessed them my lessons will be chosen to suit the category of the student. eg Beginner, Intermediate and advanced the lessons are also designed to suit the age group they fall into. The emphasis is always to keep it simple and interesting with flashcards and worksheets that are educational and rewarding to complete. I teach online and not in a classroom so my Teaching tools are appropriate for this method and the children are encouraged to use the internet to practice English at home.
