About Lizzie

My movement practice began when I was introduced to ballet at age 7. I went on to train in many styles of dance, before discovering the holistic benefits of yoga that completely captured my spirit.

After practicing yoga for many years, I was inspired to depthen my knowledge through teacher training, and am particularly passionate about the beauty it can offer not only for the body, but also for the mind and soul. Finding internal and external connection and creating moments of peace for yogis of all levels is central to my practice.

Having traveled and trained extensively in India, I feel very privileged to have connected with the roots of this tradition, something that influences my teaching.

I did my 200 hours Hatha Vinyasa Teacher Training at Spirit Sadhana, Barcelona, under the tutelage of Adeline Boissard and Johanna McElfresh, and am accredited with Yoga Alliance. I also completed by 50 hours Yin Teacher Training at Rishikesh Traditional Yoga School in India.

About the lesson

Whether you are just beginning your yoga journey or looking to deepen your practice, the first step in my methodology is to get to know you and your goals. Searching for a good workout and physical challenge? Interested in yogic philosophy and incorporating meditation? Looking to get into the chakras? We can work together to create a plan that creates the most benefits for you.

My teaching style incorporates a blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, Pranayama (breathwork) and deep relaxation. Creating a safe and judgement-free zone is central to my practice.

I typically invite students to build heat through asanas (poses), before winding down to a mindful meditation. The beauty of one-to-one lessons also allows for the workshopping of particular asanas, from warriors and downward dogs, to standing balances and arm balances, allowing us to really drill into alignment and the many benefits of each pose for your body and mind!
