About Ty

I am Ty, a second year PPE student at Durham University. I have been a musician, performing and studying the piano for over 14 years, as well as the flute for 12 years, the organ for 2 years and singing for 14 years.

I adore music, playing it, listening to it, composing it, and I would love to work together with students to foster their passion, musicality, and open up the countless opportunities music holds.

About the lesson

Lessons are typically an hour long, and teaching methodologies are personalised for students’ wants and needs.

Primary focus is on confidence in playing, musical expression and fostering passion for the piano, finding and developing music that the student enjoys most.

Lessons are for any level or grade.
