About Bridgett
Hi, I’m Bridgett! I’m a former elementary school teacher with a Master’s in Education and a genuine love for working with children and language learners. Helping students feel confident, supported, and excited about learning is at the heart of everything I do. With my background in elementary education, I understand how important patience, encouragement, and clear explanations are, especially when learning a new language. I create a calm, welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. My teaching style is friendly, structured, and student-centered. I enjoy turning lessons into positive experiences by using simple explanations, engaging activities, and real-life examples that make learning meaningful. As an ESL tutor, my goal is to help students feel confident, supported, and comfortable using English in everyday situations. With a background as a former elementary school teacher and a Master’s in Education, I understand how to break language learning into simple, manageable steps that feel encouraging rather than overwhelming.
My Teaching Method & Techniques
I use a student-centered, supportive teaching approach that focuses on real communication and understanding. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice.
