About Ashley
My Education: I'm a cognitive behavioural scientist with a PhD. I've studied a wide range of topics relevant to these fields and also have research experience in psychosis, alcohol, mood, risk-taking, neuropsychology, and vascular neurology.
My Teaching Experience: I've provided 1:1 mentoring to a few psychology students at the undergraduate level, including students on the autism spectrum, with learning disabilities, and ADHD. Students I've mentored in this capacity have received grades of A and A+ in their assignments and have gone on to be accepted into multiple graduate school programs.
I'm looking to build more experience helping students achieve their goals!

My teaching style is adaptable and student-focused. I'm interested in understanding the student's background knowledge, learning style, and any barriers to learning so we can overcome them together. I teach strategies for smart-reading scientific articles and course materials. I'm also happy to provide feedback on assignments in between lessons. I'm patient and willing to review material with students as many times as needed.
