About Gray
I am originally from the United States where I received my BSc in Developmental Psychology from Vanderbilt University and then my MEd and PhD in Psychology from the University of Houston. I now live in the UK where I have taught UG Psychology at several UK institutions for the past 7 years, and have served as Programme Lead for BSc Psychology honours. I am passionate about research on atypical development and individual differences as well as making academic writing accessible to larger audiences. I am interested in supporting learners with writing, qualitative and mixed research methods and supporting students with special learning needs.

With a strong foundation in psychology and extensive experience supporting learners with special educational needs (SEN), I am well-equipped to be an effective tutor. My understanding of psychological theories and principles (over 30 research publications relating to social psychology, developmental psychology and individual differences) allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and in an engaging way. My background in SEN has given me the skills to tailor my teaching to each student's unique learning style, build their confidence, and create a supportive, inclusive environment. I am patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential in psychology.
