About Oindrila
Presently a PhD candidate at University of Hyderabad, I have been in touch with the discipline of Psychology from my high school years. I have completed my Master's in Health Psychology with a gold medal. As part of my PhD programme, I am required to assist in teaching a variety of courses within the domain of Psychology. I have given lessons at the postgraduation level and have tutoring experience in the past.

As an educator, I believe that student engagement is the key to optimize learning outcomes. Each learner has a different learning style, therefore I take it as my responsibility to identify and cater to the student's style of learning. Along with learning styles, creativity is another important factor in the teaching-learning process. I make my lessons as creative as possible using a wide range of teaching techniques. I like to engage in student-centred discussions to make the process more interactive and fun.
Each lesson comprises of 4 parts:
1. A recap of the previous lesson is discussed at the beginning of each lesson
2. Teaching objectives of the present lesson are discussed
3. Hands-on learning is done through practice/ demonstration/ activity/ exercise
4. Clarifications or doubts of the student are answered and feedback is sought
Based on the lesson objectives, the student will be provided with lecture notes, e-learning resources and homework exercises.
I offer lessons to students of secondary school, higher secondary school, undergraduate level and postgraduate level.
