About Scott

My resume and promo materials used to read "Born Musical", but apparently this was intimidating so I express it in other ways. Ask me what was my favorite "toy" and I will reply "my record player". During elementary school, besides the chorus (in which all of the class members participated) I briefly learned violin and various percussion instruments, but I performed on woodwind instruments in the symphonic bands at middle school, when I also played in the Jazz Band as the bass player. The Freshman year of high school was when I moved to the percussion section and played more than bass guitar in Jazz Band because I could move to piano, guitar and the drum kit. My first paying gigs were during high school, which reinforced the importance of discipline, in behavior and musicianship. After school I began a career in broadcasting and playing jobs for professional functions such as conventions, celebrations, and weddings. In 2019, I received a degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

About the lesson
