About JESSICA

I am a concert pianist with over 15 years of experience performing and teaching, committed to helping students discover the joy and discipline of music. My journey began at a young age, and over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse students, guiding them from their very first notes to advanced performance pieces. I earned my formal training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – Herb Alpert School of Music, where I studied piano performance and music theory in depth. This world-class education gave me not only technical mastery but also a strong foundation in the artistry, discipline, and creativity needed to excel as a musician. I bring this same level of dedication and professionalism into every lesson I teach. As a teacher, I am patient, encouraging, and passionate about tailoring lessons to fit each student’s unique goals. Whether someone dreams of performing on stage, mastering classical repertoire, or simply playing music for enjoyment, I create a supportive environment where progress feels rewarding. My ultimate goal is to inspire lifelong musicianship and a deep appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be both structured and inspiring, helping students grow in their technical skills while developing a genuine love for music. With 15 years of experience as a concert pianist and formal training from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) – Herb Alpert School of Music, I bring professional insight into every lesson. Whether you are brand new to piano or preparing advanced repertoire, I adapt my teaching style to meet your specific goals.

Each lesson blends practical piano technique with music theory, ensuring students not only play well but also understand the language of music. We work on proper posture, finger strength, musical phrasing, and expressive performance, while also exploring rhythm, harmony, and composition. This combination helps students build a strong foundation and the confidence to perform with artistry.

I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel encouraged to challenge themselves. My approach emphasizes consistency, creativity, and enjoyment, so that learning the piano becomes both rewarding and fun. Lessons are available in person or online, offering flexibility for busy schedules while maintaining a high level of personalized instruction.
